A fighting tournament? Okay, I'm in. Seems unfair to make the pokemon do all the fighting.

So who else is planning on entering this thing?

Yeah! Steve's been my sparing partner, but he obviously can't do much at the moment. I catch Yusuke or Jin whenever we're in the same location, but as of late I feel like I've been slipping. A tournament is perfect to make sure I'm at the top of my game.

Not at all. I've never been a fighter.

[A mage though, he used to be. When he was a child of course-- it's been years since he actually had magic.]

Though I'll try and watch, if they broadcast the fights.

You should come watch in person. I think Tony's going to try to convince Steve to paint my name across his chest.

If no one else is there that you'd cheer for it'd be great to have your support.

[Carol doesn't need a cheering section, she's more than fine without one. But knowing that people are there for her gives her something to look forward to after the tournament is over]
