[The pokégear comes on. Carol's sitting against a tree with a somewhat worried look on her face.]

Hey, I was wondering if there are any experts on pokémon behavior out there who might be able to help me. I was just sitting here doing some stretches when this little guy just kinda crawled into my lap and went to sleep.

[She moves the camera so that it now shows a small Pachirisu curled up on her lap. It looks very peaceful. Her Taillow and Pidgey are both staring at it curiously. She turns the gear back around so it once again focuses on her face.]

Is this normal or could he be sick? Should I take him to a pokémon center or something?

...Oh! Well maybe he thought you looked like a nice person, and didn't want to be wild any longer? Perhaps he caught himself, in a way!

[Carol reaches down and begins petting the squirrel. The only response she gets is a contented sigh and a small tingle of electric energy in her finger tips]

Should I catch him?

I think that's up to you! And him! Do you want him to stay with you?

If so, I'd wait until he's awake, and ask him about it. After all, it might be rude to catch someone who's asleep...

I do need an electric type...

[Carol looks back at the pokegear. This kid is way too nice, she didn't think she'd hear anyone telling her to ask for the pokemon's permission before catching it.]

Name's Carol Danvers, by the way.

Then that's a yes on your end! So, there's just the other end left to check! After all, you don't want to start a partnership based on ill will.

[ He'll grin cheerfully. ]

[Carol gives a small smile at the suffix. She was far from fluent in Japanese, but she did know some of the basics; that included honorary suffixes. From anyone else she would insist on something less cutesy, but Honey is just so happy she can't bring herself to say anything.]

[ Cutesy is a way of life, Carol! Specifically Honey's way of life. And he embraces it to the last, including carrying around a stuffed pink rabbit.

Oh, I don't mind at all! I'm nineteen! My birthday was this last February, actually!

[ he still looks like this when he gets married. IT IS TERRIFYING. ]

Science and technology~! I was going to work on making toys, you know, and get our group a race team...

That sounds interesting. What kind of toys?

But mostly things that will be fun to play with! I think that can encompass a lot, but a toy company should always be trying new things, don't you think?

Yeah, otherwise the kids would get bored.

Exactly! I think that sort of toy, the kind that isn't fun, isn't worth making! So I definitely never want to do that.

Well back home I'm a superhero. I'm in the Air Force as well, but the majority of my time is spent with the Avengers.

Oh, I've met one or two superheroes...! Since I got to this place, at least. I never had back home. Do you like being a superhero?
