[The pokégear comes on. Carol's sitting against a tree with a somewhat worried look on her face.]

Hey, I was wondering if there are any experts on pokémon behavior out there who might be able to help me. I was just sitting here doing some stretches when this little guy just kinda crawled into my lap and went to sleep.

[She moves the camera so that it now shows a small Pachirisu curled up on her lap. It looks very peaceful. Her Taillow and Pidgey are both staring at it curiously. She turns the gear back around so it once again focuses on her face.]

Is this normal or could he be sick? Should I take him to a pokémon center or something?

Yeap! Lots of times. When you become good friends with someone, they don't always want to leave.

I'm not sure curling up on my thighs and going to sleep automatically makes us friends.

He is kinda cute though.

Why not? Some things are just simple like that.

Things are very seldom that simple where I come from.

[It'd be really nice if they were. When the shape-changing Skrulls invaded it scared everyone. The fact that many of them could imitate powers as well didn't do the super community any good. Even though it was years ago it still seemed to have an effect on how they all formed relationships.]

I could say the same. But really? Here things are pretty much not complicated.

Then think of this place and the time you spend here as a vacation.

I would if it weren't for the fact that a lot of people's lives depend on me back home. I don't have the luxury of extended vacation time.
