Seriously? Pokémon? I’m taken in my sleep to some alternate dimension and the big bad behind it can’t come up with anything more sinister than Pokémon?
[Carol isn’t pleased or impressed by your kidnapping of her, whoever you are. There is a Taillow currently flying around in the background of the shot. Carol’s ignoring that for now.]

I’m in a generous mood today, so here’s some tips to help you next time you try to capture someone and make them believe they’re part of a video game.

One: If you put in someone pretending to be my mom, make sure she at least looks like she could be my mother. [the video shifts over quickly to Mom, who is standing in the doorway whose cheerful offer of cookies is cut off by the video moving back to Carol.] Seriously? Did she have me when she was ten?

Two: The bird’s cute [As if on cue the Taillow lands on Carol’s shoulder and chirps happily] but you can’t sway me with cute animals that I assume will battle other cute animals on command.

And finally-[Carol’s face hardens. She brings the gear very close to her face as if to heighten the effect] taking my powers doesn’t cripple me. I will find you, and I will take you down. So I suggest you give me back my powers before I get any madder.

Impressive. In my reality, Stark became Iron Man only a few years ago, so all of this is still relatively new.

For three and a half months or so. It's mid June right now.

My Bravairy can get me there in a couple hours. Would you like to meet up?

Wow. Well, at least I missed winter.

I'll be in Cherrygrove in a couple of days. If you wouldn't mind it'd be nice to travel with someone who has a better sense of whats going on here.

Don't mind at all, it'd actually be kind of nice. I haven't had much to do but be entertainment to Stark, that got old five minutes in.

Yeah, he contacted me a second ago. It gets old at first but eventually you learn to turn him into entertainment in return then it just becomes fun.

I take it you two aren't the best of friends?

We're working on being better friends, but we had a rough start, so it's a work in progress. Only been a few months since we first met.

Yes, but not as heavily as his file suggested he did before his relationship with Ms. Potts. From a recent conversation, I wouldn't be surprised if that changes. He tried to get me to bring back some booze from Goldenrod.

[Carol looks a little troubled by the news. Yeah, there's history there. She'll share with Steve if he asks, he's one of the ones that supported her. But then even after all these years it was still somewhat of a touchy subject.]

He gets way more tolerable when he sobers up.

Most of the time, he's been sober with me, never full out drunk. We get along well, but he likes to push buttons and without all his technology and toys, he gets bored.

No, I mean when he cleans up entirely. He's different. Not drastically so, but if you knew him long enough then you can see it.

Yeah, give him a radio and tell him to build a robot. It'll keep him busy for an hour or two. The time doubles if you don't give him any tools.

He doesn't know Tony well enough yet to probably know the entire difference, but from what he read he was pretty bad when Natasha was undercover]

He's been without tools for almost three months, now that he has them he's distracted all the time. Except when I was there.

Yeah, you were one of the only ones that could get him out of the garage when Pepper wasn't in town.

[It amuses Carol how naturally their conversation started revolving around Tony. It really fit him so well.]
